🔐 Composer User Permission Levels

Composer includes different permission levels so each user can access the areas they need, while keeping sensitive settings and financial information restricted where appropriate.

  • Location Manager
  • Coordinator
  • Bakery
  • Finance

Permission level summaries

Admin

Admins have full access across Composer, including operations, inventory, account management, reporting, invoicing, and all stores.

  • Full access to all Production features
  • Can manage inventory products, imports, and uploads
  • Can manage customers, users, pricelists, and standing orders
  • Can view all analytics reports
  • Can access Invoicing
  • Can access all stores

Location Manager

Location Managers can manage day-to-day activity for their assigned location, with a focus on orders and production.

  • Can view the Production overview
  • Can view the Orders page for their assigned location
  • Can create new orders
  • Can view individual orders
  • Can access the Production area
  • Cannot access Inventory, Account, Analytics, Invoicing, or all stores

Coordinator

Coordinators have broad operational access across Composer, including production, inventory, account tools, and analytics.

  • Can access Production overview, imports, uploads, and settings
  • Can manage orders for their assigned location
  • Can access inventory products, imports, and uploads
  • Can manage customers, users, pricelists, and standing orders
  • Can view Product, Invoice, and Packaging Reports
  • Cannot access Invoicing or all stores

Bakery

Bakery users can access production-focused workflows and limited reporting.

  • Can view the Production overview
  • Can view the Orders page
  • Can access the Production area
  • Can view Product Reports
  • Can access all stores
  • Cannot create new orders, view individual orders, manage settings, or access Inventory, Account, or Invoicing

Finance

Finance users can access finance-related reporting and invoicing, with limited customer visibility.

  • Can view customers
  • Can view Product, Invoice, and Packaging Reports
  • Can access Invoicing
  • Can access all stores
  • Cannot access Production, Inventory, customer editing, users, pricelists, or standing orders
