☑️ Accepting & Rejecting Orders via Slerp App
This article explains how to accept or reject Slerp orders, move them through Prepare and Completed tabs, and follow best practices to keep the app visible and the dashboard clean so orders and customer notifications are handled correctly.
One of the key things the store team should know is how to accept and reject orders on the Controls Dashboard and/or Slerp App.
When using your Slerp App:
When a customer successfully places an order, a notification will appear on the screen asking you to accept or reject it. Once you have accepted or rejected the order, it will appear on your Slerp app dashboard with the order details.
If accepted, the order will move to the Prepare tab.
If rejected, the order will move to the Completed tab.
👉 If an order has been rejected by the store, the customer’s payment will be reversed and they will receive an email confirming that the order has been rejected.

The Slerp app will also play a notification sound when the preparation time is triggered (based on the fulfilment time of the order).
💡Best Practices
-
Keep the Slerp app maximised and visible if you rely on sound notifications for new or upcoming orders.
-
Avoid minimising the app, as this may cause you to miss notifications or prevent the app from refreshing correctly.
-
Keep the dashboard clean and up to date to make it easier to manage orders and run reports.
-
Always mark orders as accepted or rejected, including nationwide deliveries.
-
Once an order has been delivered or picked up, always mark it as completed so that it will be moved to the Completed tab.
-
If an order has been left in Pending status for a long time, do not update the status, as this will automatically trigger a confirmation email to the customer.
