📝 Custom Field at Checkout
The Custom Field lets you capture essential information from customers so you can fulfill orders accurately – for example, a license plate for curbside collection or a theatre seat number for table service.
Once enabled, the field appears on the Orders tab in Controls, in the Slerp Partner app, in the KDS view, and on receipt prints by default.
How to set up Custom Field?
Login to Controls → Designer → Web → Shop tab → toggle Custom Field

Once toggled on, you will see other options where you can:
- Set the field name and placeholder text
- Choose whether it is mandatory or optional
- Select which order types it should apply to
