📣 Campaigns and Push Notifications through Mobile Applications
Use this guide to send marketing push notifications from your branded Slerp mobile app.
1. Where to Create Campaigns
- Log in to Controls Dashboard.
- Go to App from the left‑hand menu.
- Open the Campaigns tab.
- Click Create Campaign.

2. Fill In Your Campaign Details
On the campaign form, complete:
- Title – internal name so you recognise the campaign.
- Notification title – short, eye‑catching line your customer sees first.
- Notification body – main message (e.g. offer, update, reminder).
- Targeting options – who should receive the notification.
- Schedule settings – when the notification should be sent.
3. Scheduling vs Sending Now
You’ll see a toggle for Schedule for later:
- Off – send the notification immediately after you create it.
- On – choose a date and time in the future.
This is useful if you want messages to go out at specific times, such as before lunch or before the weekend.

4. Selecting the Audience
You’ll see a toggle for Send to all customers:
- On – send to all customers who have your app installed and notifications enabled.
- Off – send to a specific customer segment or list (if available for your setup).
If you’re unsure which option is best, consider starting with “all customers” for big announcements and limiting to a segment for more targeted offers.

5. Previewing the Campaign
Before sending:
- Click Preview Campaign.
- You’ll see:
- A summary of your campaign settings.
- A visual preview of the notification on iOS and Android.
Check:
- Spelling and wording.
- Offer details and dates.
- That the message is clear even on a small screen.
If anything is wrong, close the preview, adjust the campaign details, then preview again.

6. Sending & Managing Campaigns
- When you’re happy with the preview, click Create to confirm.
- The campaign will either:
- Send immediately, or
- Be queued to send at the scheduled time.
You can review campaigns under:
- Campaign History – past campaigns.
- Scheduled Campaigns – campaigns that are set to send in the future.
This lets you check what’s gone out before and avoid repeating messages too often.
