➕ Creating Loyalty Bonuses

Reward customers for key actions like signing up or placing their first order with extra stamps or points.

Loyalty bonuses are extra stamps or points you give customers when they do something you want to encourage – for example:

  • Creating an account
  • Making their first purchase

Bonuses are added on top of the usual stamps/points a card gives.

📝 Note: Bonuses cannot be given just for downloading the app. Customers must create an account first, because points and stamps are linked to the customer’s account, not the device.

Example use case

If you have a “Buy 9 coffees, get 1 free” card, you could:

  • Set up a bonus of 9 stamps for creating an account.
  • A new customer downloads the app, creates an account and logs in.
  • Their card is immediately filled with 9 stamps, so their next coffee is free.

If you want a different type of bonus (for example, a bonus on a different card), create that loyalty card first, then attach a bonus to it.

How to create a loyalty bonus

  1. Decide what you want to reward (e.g. account creation, first order).
  2. Make sure the loyalty card you want to use already exists.
  3. In Controls, go to Loyalty → Bonuses.
  4. Create a new bonus and choose:
    • The action that triggers the bonus.
    • The loyalty card it applies to.
    • How many stamps/points are given.

You can create as many bonuses as you need, and can have more than one bonus per action. However, you don’t have to – many partners start with just one simple welcome bonus.
