🔄 Fulfillment Types

There are 3 main ways orders can be fulfilled; Delivery, Pickup, and Order At Table

What does “fulfilment type” mean?

A fulfilment type is the way an order is completed. In Slerp, this usually means:

  • Delivery – you or a courier deliver the order to the customer
  • Pickup – the customer collects the order from your location
  • Table ordering / Order at Table (if enabled) – the customer orders to their table

You can configure fulfilment types per location and per order type (same-day or pre-order). Main fulfilment types in Slerp:

  1. Delivery
    • Customer enters their address and selects a delivery time.
    • You can use:
      • Slerp courier partners (managed delivery) – integrated fleets that are booked automatically when you accept an order.
      • Your own drivers
      • Other third-party logistics you manage yourself
  2. Pickup
    • Customer orders online and collects at your store.
    • No driver or delivery fee.
    • Works for both same-day and pre-order (see “Intro to Pick Up” for setup).
  3. Table ordering / Order at Table (if available for your setup)
    • Customer scans a QR code or uses a unique URL for that location/table.
    • Orders are sent directly to the location for fulfilment at the table.
    • Great for busy restaurants and bars to reduce queueing and manual order-taking.

Where fulfilment types are controlled

In Controls Dashboard:

  1. Go to Locations and select the relevant store.
  2. Open Settings, then choose:
    • Same-Day Orders – for orders being fulfilled today
    • Pre-Orders – for orders scheduled in advance
  3. Within each, you can configure:
    • Delivery
    • Pickup
    • (Where applicable) Order at Table

Choosing the right fulfilment mix

  • If you are just starting:
    • Enable Pickup first – simpler and no courier integration needed.
  • Once comfortable:
    • Add Delivery via Slerp courier partners or your own drivers for more convenience.
  • For busy dine‑in venues:
    • Turn on table ordering to reduce queue times and improve service speed.
