How do I know if an order was successfully delivered?

To help ensure a seamless drop-off experience for your customers, the courier companies have implemented different proof of delivery options. Their Electronic Proof Of Delivery technology can guarantee the delivery is fulfilled succesfully, while reducing human error, improving efficiencies, and mitigating fraud.

  • PIN code verification: A PIN code will be provided to the delivery recipient by SMS. Uber driver can obtain the PIN code from the recipient and enter it into the Driver app to complete the delivery.
  • Capturing a photo of the order (POD) at the drop-off location: In case the customer is absent, the order could be left at the door and a photo of the order will need to be taken with the Driver app in order to complete the delivery, making sure the photo shows the order left in a safe place (see example above)
  • Collecting a signature: The delivery recipient will need to provide their signature in the Driver app in order to receive the delivery. Once the delivery recipient has provided their signature, you will be able to complete the delivery.

How do I know which courier has delivered the order?

After clicking the tracking link (as explained in the steps provided here), you'll find all the details about the driver assigned to your order and the courier company they work for.

Where can I see the POD picture?

Stuart POD can be directly attached to the tracking link of the order, as mentioned in the example above (see here).
