Images and Visual Assets

Your store resizes images to fit every screen. Use the sizes below so nothing important gets cropped and your pages load quickly. Slow, badly cropped pages cost orders. 

How do I access this feature?

Login to Controls → Designer→ Landing 

Here's a quick link that takes you directly to upload your Logo, Splash Image, and/or Favicon.

You can access this quick link for uploading your Header Logo and Store Banner.

 

What are the image requirements and dimensions?

Splash Image

  • File Type: JPG or PNG. Avoid WEBP, TIFF and HEIC. 

  • File Size: Under 500 KB (limit 5 MB). 

  • Dimensions: 2000 x 2000 pixels (square).

  • Placement: Keep your main subject in the middle half of the image. The splash fills the right of the screen on desktop and sits across the top on phones, so the edges get trimmed. 

Logo Image / Header Logo (Landing and Product Page)

Logo

  • File Type: PNG with a transparent background. 

  • File Size: Under 500 KB.

  • Dimensions: 256 pixels tall, as wide as your logo needs (e.g. 1000 x 256). 

  • Placement: Use your wide logo, trimmed tight with no empty space around it. The header shows every logo at the same height, so a square logo appears very small. 

Favicon

  • File Type: PNG. 

  • Dimensions: 512 x 512 pixels (square). 

  • Design: Use a simple icon, not your full logo or text. It appears as a tiny icon in the browser tab.

Banner

Banner

  • File Type: JPG or PNG. 

  • File Size: Under 500 KB (limit 5 MB). 

  • Dimensions: 2560 x 640 pixels. 

  • Placement: Keep everything important inside the central 1920 x 512 area. Desktop shows a wide strip and trims the top and bottom; phones show a deeper strip and trim the sides. 

💡 Tip: Avoid text and logos in the banner, as phones cut them off. 

Product Image


  • File Type: JPG or PNG. 

  • File Size: Under 500 KB. 

  • Dimensions: 1500 x 1500 pixels (square), 1000 x 1000 minimum. 

  • Placement: Centre the product with a little space around it. Images show as small squares on the menu and larger on the product page. 

    💡 Tip: Crop to the shape above before you upload. If the shape is different, your store crops from the centre. 

    FAQ

    • What if my image looks blurry? Upload a larger image at the sizes above. Enlarging a small image won’t fix the blur. 

    • Can I replace an image without breaking pages? Yes. Upload the new image in Controls, save, then check your store page to make sure it looks right. 

    Editing image files

    Here are some tips on how to edit your image files to be ready to upload to your SlerpSpace.

    MAC - open the image file in Preview. Click Tools > Adjust Size.

    PC - open the image file in Paint. Click Resize.

    Online - Optimizilla is great for file compression. Adobe Express or Canva are great for image sizing and general editing and have free versions available.

    Adobe Express or Canva are great online tools that can help with removing a background colour. Also Google 'remove background from image' to find other free online tools.
