📄 Nutritional Info (Calories)

You can add calorie information (kcal) to your Products and Modifiers so guests can make informed choices about their orders.

This guide explains how to add and update this information in Controls.

Requirements

Adding calories to a product

  1. Log into Controls
    Go to controls.slerp.com and sign in with your admin credentials.

  2. Open Products

    • From the left-hand menu, select Products.
    • Quick link âš¡for Products tab

  3. Choose a product

    • A Product Details panel will slide out from the right.
  4. Enter the calorie value
    • Locate the field labelled Calories (kcal).
    • Enter the total calorie value for that product.
    • Save your changes.


Your calorie information will now be stored against the product and can be surfaced on your storefront where supported.

Adding calories to modifiers (if enabled)

If your setup supports calories on modifiers (e.g. extra toppings, sides):

  1. Within the product setup, go to the relevant Modifier Group.
  2. Edit each Modifier and look for a Calories (kcal) field.
  3. Enter the calorie value for each modifier and Save.

These values can be combined with product calories to give guests a clearer view of the total kcal of their customised order.

Notes and best practice

  • Ensure calorie values are accurate and kept up to date when recipes or portion sizes change.
  • If you operate in regions with calorie labelling requirements, coordinate with your internal nutrition or compliance team to confirm values before publishing.
