📔 Order Status Log in Controls

This article explains the new Order Status Log in Controls, which shows a clear, time-stamped history of key order events (placement, acceptance/rejection, fulfilment, refunds, and status emails) and who performed them.

The Order Status Log in Controls gives you a clear, time-stamped history of what happened to an order and who performed each action. This makes it much easier to investigate issues, reduce confusion, and avoid back-and-forth when something goes wrong with an order.

Previously, this information was often difficult or impossible to determine. Now, you can review the full order timeline directly in Controls instead of relying on manual checks or guesswork.

What the Order Status Log records

For each order, we currently log the following events:

  • Order placed – when the order is first created.
  • Order accepted or rejected – including who accepted or rejected the order.
  • Order fulfilled – when the order is marked as fulfilled.
  • Refunds issued – when a refund is processed.
  • Order status emails sent – when status update emails are sent to the customer.

Where possible, we also record who performed each action.

For example:

  • Whether the order was accepted by your team, integration (e.g. Deliverect), or Slerp System.
  • Whether the order was fulfilled by the your team, integration (e.g. Deliverect), or the courier (Uber).

This helps you quickly understand responsibility and next steps when reviewing an order.
