💬Setting a Category-Level Description

Add a short description that applies to all products in a category (e.g. explain a tasting menu section, bundles, or dietary guidance).

How to add or edit a category description

  1. Login as admin on your Controls → Products.

  2. On the Products tab, click Categories. 



  3. Find the category you want to edit and click Edit category.
  4. In the Description field, enter your text:


    • Keep it brief and clear (1–3 sentences, limit 150 characters).
    • Example: Small plates designed to share. Ideal for 2–3 people.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Refresh your storefront / ordering page to see the updated description live (e.g. use your browser refresh or press F5).
