When your location is very busy and the time taken to prepare a large number of products at the same time, you can find that it has an effect on your deliveries too. In order to prevent this, you can enable a Busy Delivery Zone that is smaller than your usual delivery zone. This will help to prevent any issues for delivery customers that might have had a bad experience if their food took longer to prepare, and then still had a long delivery distance.
In order to enable the Busy Delivery Zone, you can follow the steps below:
- Login to controls.slerp.com with your admin account.
- Click on Locations in the left hand menu, and then the name of the store that you wish to edit.
- Select the Same Day Orders
- Select the Delivery tab
- Scroll down to the delivery area map, and enable the Busy Delivery Zone toggle, this will pop up a new distance slider and map showing both the normal and the Busy delivery zones.
- Click Save
It is important to note that the Busy Delivery Zone is only active when your store's Activity Mode is set to Busy. At all other times it will use the Regular Delivery Zone.
