Display custom announcements and important warning messages to customers at the point of order.
Requirements:
To facilitate communication of short-term or limited-time-only announcements, you can set up messages in the Slerp Controls Designer Page. These warnings and Announcements are shown in the heading of your shop pages and can accommodate both same-day and pre-order specific messages.
How to set the messages up:
To access these, you can use the following steps:
- Log in to your Slerp Controls Login Page as an Admin User
- Please note that Manager or Member users lack the appropriate permissions to access the Slerp Controls Designer Page.
- Navigate to the Designer Page Messages subsection by selecting the Designer tab from the left-hand navigation pane then choosing Messages > Warning & Announcement
- Enable or disable the announcement or warning required and input the message title as well as the content:
How will the messages display to the customer?
The messages will show in the appropriate shop page as a highlighted message at the top of the screen, with a warning message displayed on an orange background and an announcement displayed on a green one:
Please note that this feature is only applicable to the desktop and mobile Web Checkout, not the bespoke App.
