A simple guide to how Slerp Loyalty works, how customers earn rewards, and where it appears for them.
What Is Slerp Loyalty?
Slerp Loyalty lets you reward repeat customers with digital loyalty cards.
You can choose how customers earn rewards:
- Stamp‑based cards – like a traditional coffee shop card (e.g. Buy 9 coffees, get the 10th free).
- Points‑based cards – customers earn points based on what they spend (for example, 1 point per £1 spent). When they reach a set number of points, they unlock a reward.
You can create different cards for different purposes – for example, coffees, lunch deals or seasonal campaigns.

App vs Loyalty – how they work together
- Customers can earn and use loyalty whether they order on the web or through your brand App.
- The app and the loyalty system are separate. You can:
- Use loyalty without the app.
- Use the app without loyalty.
- For in‑store QR code scanning, customers need the Slerp app; this is what they use to scan the QR code and collect points or stamps.
How customers earn and redeem
Customers can:
- Earn points/stamps automatically on eligible online orders.
- Earn points/stamps in‑store by scanning a QR code at your venue or showing their QR Code (staff scans loyalty).
- Redeem rewards online or by scanning a “Redeem Reward” QR code you show them on your device or at the till (the screen would say Redeem reward – Show the QR code to the customer to scan).
Key features you can use
- Create multiple loyalty cards for different products or offers.
- Offer loyalty bonuses for specific actions, such as creating an account or placing a first order.
- Make cards exclusive so only selected customers can see and use them.
- Let rewards expire after a set time, so unused rewards don’t stay open forever.
- Use time‑limited QR codes in‑store to help reduce fraud.
